THE SCIENCE BEHIND HUMAN SOCIALIZING

FENWAY PARK CONCERT
One of the most iconic venues anywhere, Boston’s Fenway Park will be the site of a live concert without any fans. Favorite Boston band the Dropkick Murphys, who did one of the first livestream pandemic concerts back on St. Patricks day, will be performing from the baseball diamond at appropriate social distancing, with each member of the band set up on a different base. Bruce Springsteen will make a remote appearance, streaming live on the park’s jumbotron.
The entire event is for charity—the show will raise funds for the Boston Resiliency Fund, Feeding America, and Habitat for Humanity, Greater Boston. It’s also a glimpse of what might be in store for this summer: events held in empty parks and stadiums.
