Local-theatre buffs won’t want to miss the final weekend of Crowns, the story of a Chicago teenager who gets acquainted with her black heritage by visiting a group of southern Hat Queens! And Chicago is visiting Denver and Aurora this weekend in many different forms! The Windy City’s famous comedy troupe, Second City, brings their unique humor to the Mile-High City, and a special stage production of Chicago is playing at the DCPA for one weekend only!

Alumni of The Second City include some of the biggest names in comedy, including Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, and more.
This Chicago company will be in Denver with a side-splitting comedy show about one of the funniest topics of all time—love! It’s Not You, It’s Me takes shots at heartbreak, missed connections, and the mire of human relationships. The Windy City also appears in Denver this weekend in a different light, with a performance of the longest running show in Broadway history! Chicago is the steamy story of 1920s speakeasies, gangsters, torrid love affairs, murder, celebrity, sensationalized press—and of course, some of the most memorable Broadway songs and Fosse’s iconic choreography, including All That Jazz!
