Here’s a brand-new slate of weekend events to attend in and around the master-planned community of Southshore in Aurora. Whether you want to whoop it up at a historic cattle drive, test recipes in your Southshore kitchen, or laugh out loud at comedic theater, there are events or activities nearby for every age. If you know a teen, sixth to 12th grades, invite them to be part of the Tallyn’s Reach Library’s Teen Advisory Group, every first and third Thursday. Kids will help create displays, plan programs and develop activities while earning volunteer time. They’ll meet new peers and enjoy snacks for their time and trouble!

Happy Feet, a Warner Brothers film about a penguin named “Mumble,” who can’t carry a tune but he can dance something fierce! Stock Show Super Dogs

The National Western Stock Show is the premier livestock, rodeo, and horse show in the nation, with Mutton Busting, Xtreme Dogs, the MLK, JR.
