The Asylum is just a few miles east of downtown, the top haunted attraction in Denver. Billed as “a horrifying head trip for all who dare to enter,” the Asylum grounds are said to be the final resting place for 200 former residents and doctors of the Ridgegate Asylum. The 13th Floor is setting up scare tactics north of LoDo, and should give you something to squeal about!

FARM IN THE CITY
FarmFest at The Urban Farm (TUF), a nonprofit, 23-acre working farm in northeast Denver, features four program areas: Equestrian Training, Life with Goats and Sheep, Poultry and Alternative Gardening Techniques. All are designed to help kids cultivate determination and independence.
Get up close and personal with the horses, cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, a few stray mini-horses and one rather grumpy pig. Don’t miss the phenomenal farm where TUF raises vegetables year-round through aqua-ponics and grow-towers.
