RED CARPET MOVIES AT THE FILM FEST
Three films share the spotlight at Red Carpet events during the Denver Film Festival. Waves is an astonishing drama about one family rocked by tragedy who learns to grow toward the light in the darkest of times. Two Popes is a film with an epic collaboration of talent: director Fernando Meirelles (City of God, The Constant Gardener), screenwriter Anthony McCarten (The Theory of Everything, Bohemian Rhapsody), and screen lions Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pryce as the two popes, Benedict and Francis, who shared an historical transfer of power.

Marriage Story is the exquisitely sad and tenderly humorous story of a marriage coming to an end. Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson deliver the performances of their careers as the couple in question—he, as a highly successful theatre producer and she, as his leading lady who has the opportunity to venture out on her own—at the expense of their marriage.
