If you have a 6th to 12th-grader who is interested in aerospace or aviation, don’t miss this parent information night to introduce you to the spectacular program at Wings Over the Rockies, the Aerospace Pathways Program!

Come out and learn about this hands-on program that focuses on aerospace learning, skills and experiences. Taught by professionals in the field of aerospace and aviation, Wings Aerospace Pathways is a wonderful enrichment program designed to enhance students’ skills such as problem-solving and teamwork.

THEATRE ON THE GREEN
Central City Opera presents a bilingual youth opera, En Mis Palabras/In My Own Words. Fifteen-year-old Ana Maria feels stifled by her strict father; he is bewildered by her wish to be herself.

AURORA SYMPHONY AUDITIONS
If you are an accomplished amateur orchestral musician, an advanced student looking for additional experience, a professional looking to build your repertoire, or a retired professional who just can’t quit—Aurora Symphony Orchestra wants you!

The Aurora Symphony is a volunteer community orchestra, welcoming new musicians through auditions this weekend. The ASO performs a wide range of challenging and enjoyable music in a friendly and warm environment. For auditions, please prepare two contrasting selections: a lyrical piece that demonstrates good musical style and a piece that showcases technical ability.

WU-TANG CLAN AT THE SYMPHONY
The Colorado Symphony is always looking for new musical adventures, and this weekend’s collaborative performances with the hip-hop band Wu-Tang Clan is a perfect example of why we love our Symphony so much!

Twenty-five years ago, the Wu-Tang Clan burst onto the music scene with innovative beats and clever lyrics, as well as the diverse personalities and talents that make up its nine member hip-hop group. Now they bring their unique mythology to share the stage with the Colorado Symphony at two iconic Denver venues this weekend!

Stop by this weekend for a FREE community hands-on learning experience as you help to harvest seeds and package them for the Aurora Seed Library, located at the Aurora Public Library. Produce not selected for seed will be donated or given to volunteers and  class participants.
