Local Events Return This Weekend!
May 7, 2020
Slowly but surely, the list of “things to do in Denver and Aurora” is coming back! Yes, many of them are still virtual, but the innovative leaders in entertainment are getting more and more creative. Mother’s Day this year may mean takeout from your favorite restaurant, and whether it’s local stand-up comedians going out on the streets and filming funny things at a distance or the Colorado Rapids working to bring you a live daily sports fix, we’re beginning to see promise in this “new normal.”

Art museums may be closed for now, but Denver has an impressive display of outdoor street art that’s there for the viewing! When out and about, just be sure to comply with social distancing and wear a mask. A map of street art displays by neighborhood—including RINO, Santa Fe Art District and South Broadway—serves as a guide and a sort of scavenger hunt list!
