This weekend is Easter, and with it, all the Easter egg hunts and Easter breakfasts you can fit into one weekend—including some exclusively for adults! The Mile High City is also hosting some exciting new exhibits at Denver Museum of Nature & Science, including an interactive T. rex display and an exhibition that explores the vast mysteries of Stonehenge.

A T-REX NAMED SUE
Here for a limited time only! You won’t want to miss this thrilling exhibition all about that most ferocious carnivore of all time! SUE: The T. rex Experience is an interactive exhibit at the Museum of Nature & Science that shows you all the latest scientific discoveries about this incredible fossil.
You’ll have a chance to explore SUE’s world as you touch casts of real dinosaur fossils and hear the throaty rumble of a T. rex growl. Are you ready for the ultimate scare? You get to come face-to-face with SUE!

STONEHENGE EXPLORED
The mysterious circle of monoliths has been puzzling the world for centuries. This is your chance to get some new inside information! The temporary display at DMNS features 400 artifacts and includes breakthrough sciences that are helping experts discover new insights about the phenomenon.
As a World Heritage Site, Stonehenge is on many travel lists, but until you have the chance to journey there in person, why not get inspired by this exciting exhibition? With some stones that are over 20 feet in height and weigh more than 50,000 pounds, scientific analysis has shown that they were transported from over 150 miles away! How’d they do that?

FREE ART FOR KIDS
Here’s a fun family event that won’t break the bank—kids 18 and younger get in FREE this weekend! Head over to Denver Art Museum and you’ll get to see all the new exhibitions as well as play some family games.
Special Spring Break exhibits include ways for kids of all ages to interact with art by playing Art Check In or send a letter to their loved ones through the Art Letter Challenge. There’s also a bunch of activities to check out online!

Friday, April 2
DAY OF JUBILEE ONLINE
This virtual celebration is a way to safely get together with neighbors in a fun stay-at-home spring arts festival! Performances and art exhibits are held at Aurora’s favorite venue, the People’s Building, and brought right into your living room.
There will be a live-captured concert by Jerimiah Otto, who will be playing uplifting classical music. You’ll also get to “walk through” a virtual 360* gallery exhibition of Michael Keyes’ prints from woodblocks he carved!

IN-PERSON KARAOKE NIGHT
Karaoke is one of those activities that is best appreciated when it’s live and IRL! Lucky for karaoke fans, it will be both live and IRL tonight! Andy Gonzalez, lead singer of Roka Hueka, is hosting karaoke at the Cheluna Brewing Co., with an ingenious plexiglass set-up that keeps singers away from each other and apart from other guests.

BREAKFAST WITH THE EASTER BUNNY
Kids will be delighted to share a yummy Easter breakfast with the big guy himself! Adults will love the variety on the delicious breakfast menu, including mini-pastries, biscuits and jelly, mixed berry yogurt parfait, and choice of entree (eggs with meat or cheese blintzes). Kids get pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, and juice or milk.
After breakfast, get a picture with Easter Bunny and enjoy all the exhibits at the Denver Aquarium at 50% off admission price! Reservations are required.

EGG HUNT AT THE FARM
More than just an Easter egg hunt, this spring celebration also features kids’ crafts and farm animal interactions! The whole family will enjoy hanging out at The Urban Farm, where you can join farm educators at the chicken coop and rabbit hutch to learn more about these feathered and furry friends!
Space is limited, so you must pre-register for one of two available time slots: 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

FREE EASTER EGG HUNT
Right in the heart of Denver, you can join in a FREE community Easter egg hunt! Bring the whole family and don’t be late—the rope drops at 10:00 a.m. sharp! Make sure everyone brings their own basket so goodies can be scooped up more easily!
After the egg hunt, there will be a free photo opp with the Easter Bunny. Don’t forget your masks—they’re required.

This FREE event requires registration to visit with Beauty between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and Bunny between 1:00 and 2:30 p.m. There will also be crafts, a BYOB (bring your own basket) decorating table, a game of balloon twister, and Easter eggs filled with candy and prizes!

EASTER MENU AT THE AQUARIUM
