STREAM THE HEADLINERS
The premiere of the table reading of the new play The Headliners was recorded and is still available as a stream through June 13. Eva Tanguay was the Lady Gaga of Vaudeville and Julian Eltinge was a drag queen who was once the highest paid actor in the world. In 1908 they appeared together onstage in New York City and thumbed their noses at gender roles, respectability, and the institution of marriage.
