Outdoor concerts this weekend include a classical extravaganza as the Colorado Symphony presents Mozart Under Moonlight, in addition to all the other great summer concert series! There are also a number of theatre productions, including a mash-up of every one of Shakespeare’s 37 plays! Take advantage of the vast array of entertainment for the entire family in the Aurora and Denver area this weekend!

There is simply no better way to celebrate summer in Colorado than with the uplifting tunes of Colorado icon, John Denver, as performed by the John Adams Tribute Band! You will find yourself singing joyfully along to Country Roads, Rocky Mountain High, Sunshine On My Shoulders and all of John Denver’s beloved classics!
Adams, who is from Holland, started playing John Denver’s songs in 1972 when Take Me Home, Country Roads became a hit in Europe. He moved to the United States 12 years ago after the artist’s death, committed to keeping the music alive. Now he appears with his band at Southlands for the free summer concert series to spread John Denver’s good cheer!

BOOK OF MORMON – FINAL CHANCE!
This is the final weekend of what has been called “the funniest musical of all time” by Entertainment Weekly! This provocative production is not for the easily offended! Book of Mormon makes fun of everything people value most, as South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone portray a couple of mismatched Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda to convert the locals.
The lyrics to all the songs are obscene and offensive, while the tunes are cheerfully classic Broadway in nature. If you’ve always wondered about all the hype around this nine-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical, now’s your chance to see it!

FINAL WEEKEND – AGNES OF GOD
The thought-provoking play and movie from the 1980s that examines all angles of faith is in its final weekend at the Vintage Theatre! Agnes of God is a critically-acclaimed drama that was nominated for two Tony awards during its successful Broadway run.
The story revolves around a disturbing discovery in a convent when a young nun, Sister Agnes, is found with a strangled infant she claims to know nothing about. The convent’s Mother Superior is fiercely determined to protect Agnes, who has displayed stigmata and other signs of faith, while a court-appointed psychiatrist, Dr. Martha Livingston, uncovers evidence less divine in nature.

FUNNIEST AEROSPACE ENGINEER IN THE WORLD!
