For those of us with kids in school, the coming summer break is both a welcome respite from homework and school-year to dos and a scramble to avoid learning loss and fight boredom. Enjoy theme-based adventures at the Logan Summer Camp, plus larger-than-life fun along with multiple field trips. Only five miles from the center of Aurora, these traditional day camps run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
At horse camp, kids ages 7 and older will learn horse care and ride daily. Cowboy boots, long pants, hat and sunscreen required. The classes are Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and are ideal for first-time riders, or return riders. Be sure to bring a helmet or borrow one for free.
