The Fish Are Jumping!

Weekends at Aurora Reservoir include all kinds of activities! Colorado Parks and Wildlife has stocked the Aurora Reservoir with all kinds of “catchables” for anglers.  With a little patience, even beginners can expect to hook one of these: Bass (Largemouth and Smallmouth); Wiper; Catfish (Channel); Perch (Yellow) Walleye; Bluegill; or Trout (Rainbow).

Check out the fishing regulations here, then grab your gear! Just don’t forget your sunglasses. Experts say that they’re as important as your rod and reel. Check out these lenses tips from the pros here.

Aurora Reservoir, Open dawn to dusk (5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.) 5800 S. Powhaton Road, Aurora. Phone: 303-326-8425
